Childhood Playscapes

I was definitely one of those kids who took their Lego play seriously.  You might as well have put a do not disturb sign on my door because when I was busy creating any distractions barely penetrated my senses, even my mom’s instructions.  The best thing about the colorful blocks was how it ignited my imagination and how even today I still enjoy a good hour or two with them scattered on the floor around me.  So it comes as no surprise that my childhood favorite is the core material in the many works of German artist Jan Vormann.

What began back in 2007 has continued on over the years and to everyone’s enjoyment who have the pleasure of stumbling across his works.
