It’s been a little over a year since my first introduction to bison grass vodka but first impressions are everything and my bartender sold it well. The fragrant aroma and smoothness of the sip still lingers and I knew I would gravitate toward any drink on the menu with it as an ingredient. Once banned in the US because of a single sketchy component, coumarin, the building blocks of the favored grass to the last herds of bison in Europe has been perfectly tweaked and is now available just about somewhere…if you know where to look.
With Spring in its early days, and the weather actually reflecting it, why not celebrate with a drink that is truly the epitome of the season. Enter The Bordello, a beautiful drink crafted in Manhattan by Cherry bartender Warren Hode and sake sommelier Chris Johnson and your perfect hump day drink.

7/8 oz Cherry blossom syrup
1 oz Lime juice
2 coins Cucumber
