Leave it to a London designer to take the outer shell of your favorite teddy bear and turn it into something spectacular…then mix it up with materials like princess tulle and pristine wool in shades of pastel pink, butter cream and salmon…..then sprinkle in liquid black…..and lastly add some fancy brogues.
That’s exactly what designer Simone Rocha did for her Fall 2013 collection and I have once again found myself smitten with just about every piece. Despite using some rather unique fabrics together, the mixture turned out sophisticated, eclectic and wearable. From the full on black fur mini dress to the gorgeous wool dresses with gently pleated tulip skirts and simple fitted bodices, one could easily pair the looks with their favorite leather motorcycle jacket and favorite printed pumps for one stunning night look while turning the delicious salmon pink wool coat into their everyday option.
All in all I was impressed and now have another designer to covet.
What did you think about the collection?
